Ramblings of a Philosopher

A few shots from Saturday's walk are up already with plenty more to come. I try not to overwhelm my watchers though. ;) Anyway, I've been wanting to do a feature of some of my favourite mountain shots on dA, and here it is! There are loads more amazing mountain and hill shots out there, but I can fit only so much in one journal.

New Club, huh?

Another thing I've had on my mind is the possibility of setting up a club with a hill/mountain theme. There is such a club already, namely Mountain Lovers, but I think it's fair to say that it's very close to dying (offline for over 6 weeks at the moment). This is just to throw the idea in the air, I might do a poll about it later, but would obviously appreciate any comments. I know that I have a few watchers with some splendid mountain shots (some of them featured below, in fact)!

Terrific collection of pics you have there, Tuomas - I'm very honoured to appear in such fine company.
I think my good friend *wb-skinner would be surprised and amused to find his excellent Kilter - midwinter [link] listed as a mountain pic, though :)

Thanks! Hmm, frankly I just figured that the shot was from a hilly region, but I might be wrong about that! In general I wanted to be liberal about what counts as a mountain/hill shot. Oh well!
