Snowblind by CuriousCorn Snowblind by CuriousCorn
Lake District, England.

Did most of the Helvellyn ridge on this walk, missing the Dodds, but still over 20km. Finished in Grasmere. The day was just perfect. Approaching Helvellyn summit here. You can just about see a sea of clouds in the distance. We went all the way there, so more shots coming up...

Panorama from four horizontal shots (handheld). Processed from RAWs in CS3, Cokin P121S (3-stop graduated ND) filter used.

Almost like something from the last Ice Age, what with that line of :D

btw-have you ever walked around the Shap/Keld/Shap Fells area? I admit, i haven't been to the Lake District, but having been looking at the area for a story, there seem to be some nice, lonesome walks and views there, and some good ruins :)

Cheers!

I don't think I've been around there, but you're right, there are plenty of great places to explore!
