Ennerdale, North West Lake District, England.
Day 2: well over 20km, no idea of the height gain - Pillar (892m) - Great Gable (899m) - Haystacks (597m) Buttermere valley covered in mist. Quite similar to "Vantage", but I thought it would be worth submitting, as you get a better view of the temperature inversion. It was quite amazing, up there in the mountain it was like summer, and down in the valley it was quite cold. Oh, and if you're wondering about the strange title, it's just a song title by the Finnish band Fall of The Leafe, I've been using some of their titles in this series... Processed from RAW in CS3, CPL and Dark Grey Grad (GG2) filters used. |
