I like the sunny patches of vigorous greens and reds very much. The sky is a tad to blue for my tastes. But seen as a whole, this hyper-realistic photo is awesome. Nice application of the HDR technique I must say :).

Yes, many have pointed out the strangeness of the sky, and I quite agree.. but it was a package deal, I thought! Thanks! :)

Very good HDR, nice composition. One problem though, that blue insertion in the frame distracts me from the photo. I think only white should be used in frames.

Hmm, the blue frame might be too strong - I generally take the frame colour from one of the major colours in the shot - white can be boring sometimes. But I guess there are some risks with that. Thanks!

I agree with all these lovelys before me, it is a bit of a colour riot with the sky being so dark, but otherwise it's rather wonderful :)

It's going to be a deathmatch! :matrixfight:

I personally like the heavily edited stuff, but then again I'm not into the idea of photography as reality ore even realistic.

Hehe, yeah, I think that some editing is quite necessary, but sometimes it's nicer to have a bit more realistic stuff as well.. we'll see!

Yeah, but I've found the less realistic and the more romantic I make my stuff, the more ppl seem to like it. I don't mind - I like the surreal and otherworldly in art.

Hmm... I'm liking this one, but you still need to post the less-edited one ;) And I know what you mean about how popular the overly-edited photos are on here, but I think this shot still doesn't look too different from what you'd actually see in real life, aside from the darkness of the sky :)

Yeah I still tried to do this tastefully... It is proving to be quite popular, so I guess people like deep colours and strong contrasts. ;) Nothing wrong with that, but I'll post another shot with less editing (not the same one, but quite similar anyway) tomorrow morning, I think.
