Artist's Comments

Taken on a walk from Durham to Chester-le-street.

Another simplistic landscape, I've got a thing for these now. And I suppose that there's a concept here as well: will the rapeseed oil from this field be used for biodiesel, or for food?

Processed from RAW in CS3, Cokin P121 and CPL filters used.

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checked by failure...than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy much nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.
Got wedged in a load of this stuff yesterday, got the crap all over my nice clean white shorts...even worse, wasn`t happy with any of the shots I took :cries:

Anyway, don`t like to moan ;p ,it`s still beautiful on the eye, lovely shot mate :aww:

I had such great hopes for Biofule till I found out that it gives out just as much carbon emissions as petrol and now gives other poorer countries an excuse to chop donw more rainforest so they can cash in on it :(

Still, FANTASTIC SHOT MR!

Yeah, I haven't really looked into the matter, but the word is of course that the increasing food prices are due to this biofuel hype, and that can't be good.

Cheers!
